Cooking Utensils Needed: large mixing bowl small bowl measuring cups measuring spoons baking sheets wax paper
Ingredients: 1 cup salted butter, softened 2 cups brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal 1 1/4 cup white flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a large bowl, cream (combine) butter and brown sugar together until smooth.
- Beat eggs into mixture one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Combine the rest of the dry ingredients in the small bowl and stir slightly with a fork.
- Slowly add dry ingredients into the
creamed mixture.
- While singing a happy tune, pour chocolate chips into mixture and stir again.
- Drop heaping spoonfuls of mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
- Bake cookies for 12 minutes, or until
golden brown.
- Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before moving to a wire rack.
- Eat.
