Weekly Inspiration: New American Airlines Logo

This morning, American Airlines announced their refreshed brand along with a new look for their aircraft graphics. According to American Airlines, the new Flight Symbol icon "contains the eagle, the star, the 'A,' and refreshed shades of red, white, and blue." It's a modern, soaring icon that shows their forward progress, but still honors their traditions. Read more

Weekly Inspiration: University of California, Rebranded

University of California unveiled their new monogram this month. It was created by an in-house team lead by Vanessa Correa, creative director, and Kirill Mazin, art director. The “UC” mark is a modern crest combining the shape of a book and shield. Read more

Palo Alto Buzz: Palo Alto Int’l Film Festival

The Palo Alto Int’l Film Festival (PAIFF), which showcases the best, most innovative films, was right in our backyard from September 27–30. Our parking lot was converted into Festival Village with an outdoor theater that seated 500, wine tasting stations, food trucks, and a VIP lounge. Read more

Palo Alto Buzz: Xercise Lab Grand Opening

Last month, the Palo Alto office went to join in on all the excitement at the Xercise Lab® Grand opening. We were welcomed by their friendly and energetic staff and a few of us even tried a free class. Xercise Lab owner, Jenny Rowe, has such a drive and passion it's no surprise that she and her team had a truly successful weekend. We've been working closely with Jenny since she came to us to design the Xercise Lab logo in the fall of last year and have been so impressed with how she’s made her vision a reality. Together we have created a complete brand platform from the logo and website to packaging and tote bags. Read more

Palo Alto Buzz: Pantone Themed Baby Shower

Our very own Lauren Brooks is getting ready to pop and lucky for us we have another excuse to throw a party. We invited her husband, Oscar, along with some friends of Michael Patrick Partners to surprise Lauren. We showered her with gifts for Baby and a colorful selection of snacks, like Pantone Strawberry and Pantone Baby Carrots. Even our Portland office celebrated with us over Google+ Hangouts. Read more

Palo Alto Buzz: Ray Ross, Marketing Intern

Meet Ray. He’s our summer intern. Ray is a junior studying public relations and psychology at Villanova University and he will be helping us with market research and social media development, like our Facebook and Twitter pages. He enjoys public relations because he understands that there isn’t just one right way to create a message. He likes the challenge of taking different opinions and establishing a message that is fully accessible to the public. His fascination with people led him to psychology. Ray loves people, people love Ray.
