Awards: 2011 American Graphic Design Awards

Becker BrochureSince 1963 Graphic Design USA has been the national news magazine for graphic designers and other creative professionals to follow for poignant industry viewpoints. This year our firm received nine awards from the American Graphic Design Awards show sponsored by the magazine. Open to creative professionals across all mediums, the competition’s judges recognized just 1,000 winners (from a universe of more 8,000 nationwide entries) as the best of the best. Winning entries will be reprinted in the GDUSA design annual and on the publication’s website. Read more

Our work on University of Portland’s capital campaign received acclaim at the 2011 CASE Circle of Excellence Awards. In the category of individual fundraising publications, it received the only grand gold medal. And in the category of excellence in design, it received one of only two gold medals. CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. The awards acknowledge superior accomplishments that have lasting impact, demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, and deliver exceptional results.

Celebrating 30 Years: Michael Patrick Partners Knows How to Party

The entire staff from the Portland office headed down to Palo Alto on May 5 to party with their fellow co-workers like monkeys on a banana barge.
